Based on the reading, “Global Climate Change” by William J. Clinton

Based on the reading, “Global Climate Change” by William J. Clinton of the textbook,An Examined Life: Ethics and Critical Thinking, answer the following questions.


Short Answer Questions (answers should be a few sentences):
  1. What are some of the facts of climate change that Clinton cites in the beginning of his speech?
  2. What are some of the predictions of the UN Global Initiative on climate change for the effects of global warming?
  3. What are some of the ways that Clinton suggest climate change can be reduced?
  4. How are other countries ( such as Denmark, the Philippines and Germany) generating electricity that is environmentally conscious?
  5. Some people argue that global warming is not real, or that we are simply inbetween ice ages. How would you respond to such individuals? ( you can agree, dissagree or be indifferent but explain your reasons and response)
Essay Question
In a well developed essay (at least 3 paragraphs) answer the following question:
     5.  What can we, as individuals do, to help resolve a problem as vast as climate change?
